Lake Association shirts/hoodies/sweatshirts – Long Weekend Sportswear of Perham will provided lake apparel through on-line orders. “Stores” are open for a set length of time and orders are shipped about 3 weeks after a deadline.  June 20th will be set as the first deadline and a second deadline for August 3rd will be set for late summer delivery. Info will be  shared in newsletter and at Annual Meeting.

Venting Project Update – Pumps were shut off in early April and Paul Lake’ outlet to LM has been closed as well.  At shutdown we were at 8.2” above OHW.  Pumps will be off until lakes downstream get to levels defined in the operating plan.

Krebs-Little McDonald Channel Update –  A bill has been introduced in both MN house and senate, asking for an additional $300K to pay for the navigation channel plus the $1.075 million cost overrun for the venting project.  The navigation channel has to be approved as a project by the LID in July.  We do not know what maintenance costs would be for the channel. Kerb’s and Little Mc could be assessed separately from Paul.

Water Sample Collections – coordinator (COLA website/Haiders):  Jim McLeod volunteered to pick up four coolers from Ottertail Community Center on April 25th to be used for water sample collections.  Dates for sampling need to be set and coordinated with Haiders and Mollinses.  Volunteers are needed to make the deliveries when the dates are determined.  County AIS Task Force will have 25 inspectors moving between lakes this summer.
